The southern deccan of India is amongst the prominent tourist places of India. Spanning over four Indian States- Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu and the Union Territory of Pondicherry, it coves some of the famous national parks and wildlife sanctuaries in India.

Peiyar National Park :
Spanning over an area of 777 sq km, Periyar National Park is one of the oldest wildlife sanctuaries of India. A Tiger reserve and an elephant sanctuary, Periyar National Park in India is amongst the favorite hot spots of Kerala.

Madhumalai Nataional Park:
Situated in the forest belt between the Western Ghats and the Nilgiri Mountains, Madhumalai National Park is an undulating wildlife sanctaury of southern India. Located in Tamil Nadu, Madhumalai wildife sanctuary in India boast exotic flora and fuana.

Bannerghata National Park:
Established in the year 1971, Bannerghata National parks spans over 104.27 sq.kms and comprises of National Park, an Aquarium, a Zoo, Children's park, Crocodile Farm, Snake park, Prehistoric animals park and a Museum.


Nagarhole National Park :
Officially known as the Rajiv Gandhi National Park, Nagarhole National Park span over an area of 640 sq km is made up of two words - Nagar and Hole. The park is situated at Kodagu and Mysore in southern Karnataka.
